I have been an artist for years but I only came to watercolor in the last year. Metallic paints and inks make me happy so I had to order this set because it has so many colors of metallic/pearlescent paint. I have discovered that the best way to use this paint is to use it in conjunction with traditional watercolors. These do not blend very well. But if you use them as a top layer on the regular watercolor the effect is beautiful. These pans do not have much paint in each pan, but the good news is it does not take much paint to get a beautiful effect, so this palette will last you longer than you think it will. Be sure to clean your brush each time you go to a different color so that you do not contaminate the paint pan! For the price this paint is excellent! I will buy it again when i use all mine up!

Oh my gosh! I love these paints and the brushes that can be filled with water is a stroke of genius. I haven’t picked up a brush in 20 years and now that I’ve retired, I have all the time in the world to be creative. The colors are vivid and mix really well. I find that the tubes of color can be messy and expensive. This is a great starter kit for amateurs like me.

Since I have extra time on my hands I thought i would pick up an old hobby. I love to paint with watercolors. This is a quality set. It comes with a vivid color set that has a paint brush and 3 extra brushes. It even comes with some small papers good for practice or blending. The whike thing comes in a sturdy reusable cardboard box.

I already had a basic watercolor set, but I had trouble mixing my own colors consistently. I decided to get this set for the numerous colors included and I’m so glad I did. The paints have a smooth, creamy consistency and the variety of colors is marvelous. It was a great bonus to get watercolor paper and various brushes included in the deal. I bought these to use with a kid that I work with for art therapy, and they did not disappoint! You get high quality paints for a low price, and I love how many color options there are! Even the packaging is beautiful! I love that it comes with the water brush pens, it really cuts down on the mess and makes set up and clean up a lot easier. As a therapist working with kids, I travel between floors in the hospital, and am not always able to do session in my office where all of my supplies are readily available. I’m always looking for supplies that are easily portable so I’m not lugging a bunch of things all over the place; this pallet is PERFECT for this! It has almost everything that you need right in the cute little tin, so all I have to carry around is some watercolor paper, paper towels, and this set! I highly highly recommend this.
