This was the medium size drill piece. The ground was fairly loose as the garden was put in a month ago. But it worked excellent. Nice easy to use holes for plants. The gloves that come with the set are surprisingly good quality. I would recommend it.

I got this to help me with my vegetable gardening. I don't have a tiller and got these to help reduce the digging. The 3.5in auger worked perfectly. I started my plants in some small plastic cups. There was plenty of space for the plant, compost, and fertilizer. The augers are well made and work great. Hang on to the drill tight though. If they catch a root they can be very hard to control. They are great and a fair price

This is exactly what I was looking for. I am so thankful for the smaller auger. I use the smaller one to start the hole since I am planting in really hard soil. Then I followed up with the larger auger. Only caution is if the auger gets stuck in the soil, the drill will whip your hand around, so hold loosely. Overall, super pleased!
