   Upon arrival, I carefully opened the package and loved the compact look of the camera. The overall size is small, which is a bonus as it does not block my view when in used. The installation process was super simple and straight-forward. The camera comes with all the needed essential, such as the wire and the suction-cup to hold the camera in place. The image captured is very clear and the wide-view is great as it captured almost everything. Surprisingly too, the night vision is clearer than the previous dashcam I had. I also really like how the camera dims down soon after its been turned on so it is not too distracting to the driver as well as the passenger. I would definitely recommended this to any drivers out there. This also makes a wonderful gift for any occasions because it is a must-have thing.

   I like this camera but they could have done a few things better. 1. The camera doesn't come ready for operation right out of the box. You have to order an SD card 16 or 32 GB in order for the camera to record/operate. 2. The camera doesn't come with an operators manual. You have to go on-line and print it if you want to read it. 3. There is a setup/ and use video on YouTube. No verbal instructions and they go thru the setup at a speed which is too fast for initial user. Means you have to watch fwd & rev many times in-order to get your camera set up properly. Pretty annoying, but once you get it set up it works well. 4. It has an annoying chime when the camera starts and stops.

   Easy to set up, high quality video, even at night. Nice long power cable, you could mount this almost anywhere and still have extra cable. The suction cup mount is fairly impressive. I have only had it drop twice, both times quickly and securely re mounted. I personally have not had other such devices, but am very impressed with this one. Video is saved in 3 minute segments so that you could potentially share smaller files.

   This is the second time I've purchased this little gem of a camera. I purchased one for my girlfriend about 1.5 years ago, and although we initially had trouble with the instructions, we figured it out. Make sure to watch the video! It' really is very easy to install and operate. It is high quality and solid with a great deal of adjustability when compared to other similarly priced models. The angle of view is much better than the one I previously used, and the picture quality is quite good. Although I thankfully haven't needed it, I like that the G-sensor will lock the video file to keep it from being overwritten. I also like that you can easily lock files manually to save unexpected moments. I wish I would have had this when a bear crossed the road in front of us. In short, this little camera is awesome for the price!

   Bought this for our teenage son - set the screen to auto shut off so he's not distracted by it while driving. Due to an incident in a parking lot we decided to get a dashcam to ensure no more issues if we were not at fault as the local police will not come to accidents on private property for reporting purposes. Great so far, have had it in service for almost six months no issues.

   So I would first off like to say, don’t expect a 400 dash cam. This unit is fairly priced at 50 bucks. Having said that, this item works very well. When you use the camera and view it from the 2” screen it looks like it’s not so clear. That is not because of poor video quality but poor screen viewing quality. This video on the sd card is great. Next I wanted a dash came that will turn on when I start the car and turn off when I turn the car off. This unit will do that. As long as your 12v socket turns off with the car. If it doesn’t then you will have to unplug it when you done driving or use a hardwire kit. This unit for the money will definitely work like a charm to help not get scammed by brake checkers or other crazy people.
