This thing is the real mccoy, wherever that quote comes from, this thing is right there. Smooth as butter and can turn fairly easily. Just need to keep the metal is the hole punch zone, which sometimes requires space around the cutting area to make the appropriate turn. I suppose you could just go the other direction and make it work in a tighter space, or maybe flip the bit if it's on the opposite side, I didn't check that though, but I cut an access hole to my gas tank and it saved me probably 6 hours of potentially catastrophic failure dropping the tank (or more professional results), but I took the hack job and this tool made it less hacky and more exactly.

Perfect DIY safety tool.I am not professional person, I don’t remember anything handy tools can easily cut metal , such as Aluminum, copper sheet or decorative panel except my hacksaw, but I really need an portable machine tools to DIY many things and cut any shape what I need,this nibbler cutter is perfect meeting my need. Especially works well for sheet or panel cutting and feel it is really very safety.Excellent cutting effect, easily and safely using, extra backup part. This product worked as advertised. Needed to cut some round holes in sheet metal ductwork. It's a little awkward with the drill attached but made mincemeat out of the metal and the holes were perfect.Beware of the metal shavings. I still have them in my shoe soles after 2 weeks. They are small and sharp.I've cut about 20 holes 8" diameter and still on the same blade.Way better than buying a 2-300.00 unit for the amount I would use it.

I recently redesigned the layout of the ducts in our HVAC system coming off of the plenum and needed to cover many existing holes and cut out several new holes.Instead of buying an expensive tool, I found this and thought I would give it a try. It had NO problem slicing through the sheet metal and made easy work of cutting out new holes for new takeoffs.I cut out 6 new holes, ranging in size from 6" to 10" and I never had to change the cutter or use the other side. Considering this is dual sided and has an extra "blade", I am sure this will last a long time before ever needingreplacements.Ass others have mentioned, the clippings that come off are EXTREMELY sharp. As I was in my attic, I was originally doing the work barefoot, but I quickly had several pieces of metal stuck in my foot after stepping on them and decided to wear shoes from that point on. Outside of that, which isn't really anything against this product, it is a wonderful tool that I look forward to finding more uses for.

Bought this product for my steel roof install. The product was not quite what my carpenter foreman was expecting, but it work well. You will need to practice a little to perfect the amount of pressure and technique needed for cutting straight lines and curves; especially around the ribs in the steel sheets. You will also need to be prepared for the thousands of crescent shaped steel slivers all over the cutting area. We were surprised at how many were stuck in our shoe soles. They came out easily! I would definitely recommend the product.

The double headed metal cutter goes through 2mm aluminum like butter. The problem is it is difficult to see exactly where it is cutting the edge, and it is difficult to control with any precision. With a hand operated nibbler, a square hole can easily be cut by removing the nibbler once a corner is reached, rotating it 90 degrees, re-inserting it and continuing. The Rexbeti, and other drill-powered nibblers, cannot be inserted with a 90 degree rotation, due to the teardrop shape of the cutting head. (The cylindrical cutting bit has a triangular column behind it.) So then one has to make a number of cuts from various angles, the end result being a rectangular hole with curvy sides and rounded corners.
