Gave this a shot on my rambunctious 140lb Great Dane puppy. Big, thick, solid collar with serious heavy duty clasp/buckle. The handle is a godsend- it may be less useful on a dog whose withers aren't 36" off the ground. This is a high quality, tactical grade piece that actually had thought put into the design and execution. When I find a piece of kit that really shines, I order a second one to have on hand. I will be ordering a second one of these.

We have been using for a little over a month now and really like the quality. We live in the Mountains and seems to be holding up very well to an active dog that is frequently in thick brush and various outdoor situations. We were hesitant that the handle would catch on a branch while he is out and about but it seems to fold close to the collar base and not lift in any way that could get caught. Also LOVE the strong metal clip, this was essential for us. We chose the Large after debating between that and XL and glad we got L because there is plenty of room on our Large breed Belgium Shepherd with thick fur. Would recommend and buy again!

This is a nice collar. I don’t think the size is 100% accurate though. I measured my dog’s neck and, ordered the XL, which was supposed to adjust in a half an inch smaller than his neck size. It’s pretty big and, I have to tighten it to the limit and, it’s still a little on the loose side. All the way in should be just a little tight. Over all, I like it. It is very strong and, when he pulls, I’m not worried that he’s going to break it.

Only just received the collar yesterday, so I can't speak on the extent of how it will hold up over time. With that said, by initial observation it seems to be very well made and durable. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it came with a starter "in training" patch. I was also impressed with the adjust-ability and the reinforced clasps / Velcro connectors. I ordered this for my 12wk old Belgian Malinois puppy. I like it so well, I'm planning on ordering additional collars

In love with this collar! It looks awesome on our Australian Shepherd Border Collie Mix. The collar is made very well with strong Velcro. The clip is easy to do with just one hand and the handle is just the right size and in the perfect place for quick grabs. Would definitely buy again but it’s so durable it will probably be a long time!
