There’s only one thing you have to remember about this kitchen tool , You need to use the perfect size egg which is a medium size . Jumbo, extra large and large do not work so well . They will blow a part on you . Just use a medium size egg and everything will come out as stated.

Love the Eggstractor!!! I broke it out this Thanksgiving to make deviled eggs. I only had fresh bought eggs so this was the ultimate test. Out of 15 eggs only 2 messed up. Make sure you follow the directions and check your egg with every push that it's straight up. Only takes 2-4 pushes. Just LOVE the Eggstractor!

I am not sure why people are having issues with this device. I followed the directions and it worked like a charm. The only issues I had, and they were not really a problem. 1. A couple times the egg fell over and I had to re-set the egg and try again. 2. Sometimes part of the shell sometimes stayed on the bottom, but easily came off. I did 1/2 dozen eggs and it worked fine for all of them. I usually do 3 to 4 dozen for deviled eggs, so this will save me lots of time.

I checked the reviews here after I bought one from the dollar store. Worried that this probably will not work, but still wanted to try it anyway. After boiled 5 eggs, I rinsed them in cold water, then added a few ice cubes with more water. Took one egg, cracked both ends following the instructions. The first one came out with 3 pumps, after that it only took me 1 pump to get each egg out of the shell. Worked like a charm. Kids enjoyed watching the show and ate the eggs right away. Very happy with this purchase. It really helps if the eggs are cooled. I made a another batch of eggs today. But I didn't wait for them to cool. for the first one, I only managed to shot the egg yolk out. After waited a few minutes to let the eggs cool, all worked well again.

I was skeptical about this product at first because of the reviews. I have been looking for an boiled egg peeler to make meal prepping boiled eggs alot easier & faster. Let me say this works almost 95% of the time. I think some of these people just have a hard time reading instructions. As long has you follow the directions they will come out just fine almost everytime. The more you practice the easier it will be.

Looks like a few may mess up here and there but they are still edible. Only 1 out of 5 on my test messed up but I believe it could be the egg more than the Eggstractor itself.

Anyways, 100% glad i bought this I would definitely recommend.

***Side note: Only one is cut in half on my picture because I wanted to take a bite. The one to the left is the one that came apart, but it was just a small piece.

What can I say about the Eggstractor... Honestly this item has changed my life. I used to get hand cramps from peeling eggs but now my eggs are peeled with ease.

A few things to note:

- Follow the directions

- Make sure you follow the directions

- When you press down you will need to press HARD. If you just give it a light push it won't work

- I have used this on eggs that were hard boiled the previous day and it works great
