This is perfect for our situation. We needed something sturdy that could easily be placed, moved, replaced, and not lose its integrity or leave any marks/wear behind. I was worried when purchasing if the suction cups would hold, and if the material of the hammock would be easily cleaned of hair, etc. After receiving and placing the item, I saw how sturdy the general frame, hammock, and suction cups were. This was clearly designed my someone who has cats as well.

The previous cat window hammocks I bought were made of a thin fabric that closed over the pole facing the window with two small pieces of velcro holding it together. When my cats would play on it, the velcro would come apart. These are made of a lot stronger material, almost like canvas. The velcro is on one of the sides and is a big piece that runs the entire length of the side. The cables are metal, the poles are strong pvc, and the suction cups are great.

I put this together in about 5 minutes and had to stuck on the window in thirty seconds. It is currently occupied by 13lb O’Malley the Alley Cat and is holding up beautifully. I have five cats and I think I’ll be needing to purchase several more of these. The baby is already jealous.

Many times I woke up with cat butt in my face and although I love my cat, I'm not fond of a winking eye staring at me so I decided to take a chance on this cat window perch. It comes with a small blanket mat type thing but we already had a bigger one so we put that on there to make it a little more comfortable for him. We've had to move it a few times when I had surgery but it kept the suction every time we moved it. I would say the best thing to do is to wash the window and make sure it is dry prior to putting it together. Also we used rubbing alcohol on the window (and let it dry also) before hanging it. My cat can be in the same room with me and at the same time can still be doing his own thing. It's great for both of us

I cleaned the crap out of the window, used rubbing alcohol , all of it to get the glass clean…put a little water on the suction cup bit the one was problematic and kept coming un-done. On day 2 it finally stuck and has ever since ..no worries.
