We used this pillow until 3 months in our daughters car seat. It is a flatter style pillow & works really well in the car seat. For play time we had another pillow that was thicker & had a little more cushion. I believe this pillow did help relieve pressure off flat spot.

I was skeptical getting this because my daughter has flat head. She’s had it since 2 months she is now 5 months and it’s so much better I’ve had it for a month and I see such a difference. Buy it! It also feels very safe for my baby to use its very low and flat but definitely recommended stopping when they start to roll
