   I cut a slightly larger piece than the window, followed the wetting process, placed the product on the window and smoothed the bubbles out. Then I finished the trimming with a razor knife. It’s easier if you have someone to help you put it on if it’s a large piece, which is why I rated easy to install at a 4. The sun block film has made a big difference in room temperature and looks great. Several months later, it is still on just like day 1. Great product, packaging and delivery.

   For a large window, you need at least two people, that was a bit of a challenge. But once it was up, I cannot believe the difference it made!! We rarely used our family room in hot days as there is a large window where the sun beats down in the afternoon and made it miserable! Now, we’re in there all the time, I think the room must have dropped 15 degrees at least. It went from hot to very comfortable! I can’t believe what a difference this made!! Plus, this one is non-adhesive so there’s none of dealing with something sticky (especially if you make a mistake) - so much better all the way around!!

   These window films have been a life saver!! Our living room has two large 60” windows that face the West so from 1:00 until sundown our living room heats up around 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. It caused issues with our AC unit so I needed a solution to help keep the room cooler during those hours of intense heat. (I live in the south too so the heat is bad!) I’ve tried heavy curtains but they just held in the heat. I decided to try these and OH MY GOSH has it saved our utility bill! They have helped the reduce the heat in the room to the point where we don’t even run the AC that often in the afternoon anymore in the summer. Basically they’re game changing and would highly recommend!

   These are fairly easy to install, not a cake walk for sure but having a second person to help certainly helps. Really like these mirrored window tints. They help with heat regulation and provide a good amount of privacy. Have repurchased multiple times for other areas of my house.

   I installed this yesterday (2 yrs after puchasing this for various reasons) - my windows were larger (about 20" W and 55" L). Cutting to size was an issue (rolled up and hard to hold 1 person install/cut/size esp when you're trying to make a neater cut to replicate the glass without frame and *reusing which is a big feature of this film). I will add on after a month or two about heating insulation this provides (primary reason for install for West/South facing windows). My suggestion - provide pins or markers (on removable portion of plastic cover) for easier cutting. Overcut or undercut will lessen the impact this good looking film can have.
