The film works well. I thought for the cost it may not work as well but I can notice a difference in the temperature in the room. One hint though for application. Clean the window really well and the corners of the window extra, extra well. Apply the film immediately after you've washed and dried the window. Otherwise, just the dust in the air will stick to the glass almost immediately and cause bubbles. If the corners are perfectly clean, it will stick. I used a putty knife wrapped in cloth to really get into the corners. I totally recommend this product.

All of our windows on on the sunny side of the house. Ot was getting 81 with the AC running all day. We put these up and it hasn't gotten over 76!!!! And I keep the thermostat set on 75 during the day. It fairly easy to put up, although they are not cut straight by the manufacturer. We used water with a dash of soap and a squeegee to out it up. Made it much easier.

This was perfect for my application. I have a window in my office door and wanted stop people from seeing into my office at night. With my outdoor lighting on and my office lighting off you can't see anything in my office at night and I still have light during the day. Its awesome... I had to install the tint twice because I didn't use enough water the first time. but the roll was longer than I needed so it was no big deal. The second time it came out perfect.

I love this product, it really works to reduce the heat! The static cling film slides easily into place if you spray water onto the film and onto the window. The film is easy to pull off and re-attach if you need to re-position it. I used a plastic squeegee wrapped with a lint free cloth to remove most of the water, then a credit card wrapped with a paper towel to smooth out any remaining bubbles. The film will look blurry for a day or so until the water dries between the window and the film. Some customers complained about the scotch tape that was used to secure the roll, that it left a residue. The tape residue was easily removed with a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol.

I have a south facing plant window that I like to grow succulents in. They require sun but need to be protected from sunburn. I thought I would try this although honestly I was very worried that I might have the continuing problem. The solar film has decreased the sun, the heat and the UV rays. My succulents are still blooming and seem to be thriving. I am thrilled.

I use cling on window film all over my home for privacy, but this reflector film is Amazing. It adheres beautifully. I installed it on my glass skylights and what a difference it made. Truly blocked out the heat and is saving my clothed and furniture. A little tricky to get smooth upside down, but does a fantastic job at reflecting the sun.
