   This solar film worked perfectly on my office window. Prior to installation, I could feel the heat radiating off of the window, and had to close the blinds and draw the curtains so I wasn't cooked and blinded during the morning sun. Now that I've installed this film, I can actually leave the blinds open, so I can see what's going on outside, and even the window sill stays cool to the touch. Its been amazing actually.

   I used this product aboard our sailboat to give the interior of the boat less direct sun. We are in Mexico, where the sun beats down and heats everything up. The interior was immediately cooler and yet I could uncover the windows to get light. It made a striking difference. Application was straight forward but be very careful to see that the window is scrupulously clean, especially around the edges. Any grit or dirt will cause an air bubble and compromise the look and how long this stuff stays attached to the window over time. That's going to be the way it goes for any kind of film you apply and is not indicative of quality. It's just physics. You'll also want to be careful not to crease the film. I was afraid this film would look like my boat had mirrored windows but for some reason it does not. I'm very happy with it.

   Was easy to apply to our door window on sunroom. Film not too stiff but thick enough so it won’t tear. Highly recommend buying the install kit too that contains spray, cloth, cutting blade, and mini squeegee. I also purchased an additional 8” rubber squeegee for initial install...the 8” length worked well. The “black” is actually a smokey gray so looks nice. Great idea for areas where blinds or curtains won’t do. Highly recommend.

   Me and my husband didn't put a lot of effort into cutting these nicely and we didn't buy a squeegee. We used a spray bottle to spray the window, pulled off the protective layer, sprayed the back of the film (mirror side) then he held it at the top of the window and I gently laid it down. We sprayed more water on the face if it and used our hands to smooth the bubbles. SO....If you out little effort into installation this is great, if you out just a little effort in you can probably get all the bubbles out and have clean lines on edges. It's the part of the day the heat increases in this room, but it started cooling off immediately. You can see through the window though it does create some shade in the house. Like wearing a very lightly tinted pair of sunglasses.

   This product was easy to install, using a spray bottle of water and a straight edge plastic piece to remove air bubbles. Adhesion was a breeze - no glue involved. Just water. If you need to remove, just pull up a corner and peel. We bought a “kit” that was cheap and it worked perfectly for the job. We have 3 huge windows in the living room and the glare was unbearable. This film’s sheerness lets in natural light, but blocks the glare and heat beautifully. Our electric bill even went down! And the bonus is - people outside can’t see in when there’s more light outside!

   Works really well to block heat coming in thru the windows so our ac doesn't have to work as hard. It was slightly time consuming for us to cut appropriately and install, but that is a small price to pay for the added privacy and heat reduction. We can still see outside easily but no one can see in (looks like a mirror effect to anyone standing outside.) Great value as well. Very pleased!
