   The kit comes with absolutely everything you need and for the price i bought it i'm really surprised. It seems to be accurate which is the most important part. This was my first time buying a diabetes kit so i was worried i wouldn't know how to use it but the box comes with easy to understand instructions so i was relived about that. Also i was worried that the lancing process would hurt or be messy but it honestly just felt like a prick and there was actually not a lot of blood so i kind of had to sueeze a little on my finger every time to get some out. Overall i'm really happy with this.

   This device was simple to use, easy to follow instructions and continues to work great 6 months later. The price is acceptable and provides everything needed to get started. Refills are also reasonably priced. I will continue to use this product, Ive been happy with it.

   Don’t believe the negative reviews. The lancet device works fine. It’s plastic, treat it accordingly and it works just fine. Could I break it if I wanted too? Yeah. But I choose not to. The meter is easy to use with large numbers on the screen. The only draw back that I see is in when tagging if the reading is before or after a meal. It’s difficult to see which one you are selecting.

   I bought this while pregnant to test for gestational diabetes (regular blood sugar testing is more accurate and healthy than a glucose tolerance test). I think it's super easy to use and the case fits everything super easily, everything has a place in the small compact case.

   I purchased this kit as an economical backup to my name brand glucose meter. I had concerns about accuracy and ease of use but those concerns have been eliminated. I have tested many times using blood and control solution and found CareTouch to be every bit as accurate and easy to use as the OneTouch Ultra 2. It actually requires less blood than the OneTouch. If your insurance doesn't cover your equipment or they don't cover enough strips, this is what you need! Setting the date, time and getting history is slightly less user friendly but still works very well. This may become my primary meter.

   This is my second meter; fell out of the habit of regular testing and then in a move it got lot in the shuffle. A1c had gone up and I needed to get a handle on things. The CareTouch had good reviews, a decent price, and it seems the test strips are less pricy than some other brands. Easy to read. Easy to set up and to code tests as before or after a meal. Stores 300 test results (I’m also recording with other information on a iPhone app). Meter automatically reads test strip code. Little button to eject the test strip. Nice storage/travel case. It seems to be accurate. Easy to follow instruction booklet. Accuracy is difficult to judge since I not testing it against a lab blood test, but it seems accurate based on the expected results at various times/last meal/etc. Plus, several reviews gave it high marks for accuracy. Happy with this purchase.
