This is a great marble run. I bought it for my 7 year old. I was initially worried that it would be too young for him, but absolutely not. It is a challenge for me to make a good marble run route, and definitely a challenge for him. This is much better than the chaos marble run that we have because he can do everything himself and he can design his own runs, rather than just copy one from a booklet. Others have mentions pieces not fitting together well. I think they fit together just fine. It's only a problem if you haven't done a good job with your design. You need to make sure that adjacent run pieces are connected by a piece under them. If you have two distinct towers with adjacent run pieces, they won't line up.

My 2 1/2 year old grandson LOVE'S this toy. The marbles are larger than regular marbles, which makes it easier for him to hold. It comes with diagrams that are very easy for an adult to set up. When he comes to visit this is one of the first toys he goes to play with.

We purchased 2 sets for Christmas. Best present ever! my 19 month old, 4 1/2 year old and 13 year old have all played with it every day! It fits with our Duplo legos (sometimes a tad tight) and they have made some giant marble runs! (The marbles are choking hazard size so I do need to keep an eye on the little while playing.) The only thing I am not too fond of is that the marbles are not solid. They click together... kinda cheap design but other than that, this was a fantastic purchase.
