The Curtain Rod 2 is just very impressive. I've wanted to get this for a long time, and now I have it I am just loving it, I do not have to manually open the curtain and also they automatically open themselves as I have set it to open at a specific time of the day.

I have been using this for the past 3 weeks and I had ZERO problems with this, I also have not charged it since then so the battery on this is also long-lasting.

Moving on to the installation, it was very easy the instruction in the manual was very easy to follow with diagrams. And I was able to play around with it in just a matter of minutes. I was also able to quickly connect to my phone and use it from there as well as connected to my Alexa Dot as well.

This is just perfect to have.

I purchased this product to test the opening of curtains at home using automation.

The installation takes a while, and for the type of curtains I have (see photos/video) it is imperative to install the accessories that come with the switchbot, otherwise the motor has no strength to open/close the curtain.

Since the accessories are white/transparent, they are hidden behind the curtain.

It has a very simple and practical app to use.

The only flaw I point out is that it requires a hub (which is not included) to work via Google/Alexa.

Their support is good, they respond quickly and even help the customer.

Right now I'm only sorry that I didn't buy 2, because the curtain I have is double.

It is a very nice product that fits well the needs of the customer. In the box there is a long chain of clips to make the opening and closing smoother, the curtain robot itself and a charging cable. It works smoothly and silently. The light sensor is a very helpful perk of the item as it allows you to automate the curtain to be opened or shut when light conditions change. Overall I really recommend it, it’s cheap and works well, and I recommend the brand overall, big fan myself.

In this house the room is small so there was no other way to place the bed, but with this layout it was very difficult to open and close the curtains, since you had to jump on the bed or pull the curtains. By disposition of the landlord, it was also prohibited to carry out installations that required drilling into the wall, so changing to an electric rail was not the solution.I found this device and I thought that it could be the most suitable solution and I am very happy with the purchase. It was super easy to install and connect to the phone, now the room is much more comfortable. I liked it so much that I am going to buy a second unit for the living room and thus have everything automatic.

It works perfectly fine, it is fast and quiet and there are many different ways to set it up in the app, the speed, using the light sensor, timers to when to open up or shut. Price is fair. Quality feels very high. Overall a very good product. Hope this helps x.
