   I decided to try to use my cell phone instead of buying a bicycling computer, since it can run and app and has built in GPS. After reviewing TONS of holders this one seemed to best fit within the tiny amount of free space i have on my handlebars. Of course using it required buying a quad lock case for my cell phone as well, but i decided to go for it. So far, the 2 have been great together. The mount is very sturdy and allows me to rotate the phone several ways. Also, I am able to see the phone while riding, plus use it for music and etc also. Great investment.

   This is very high quality, and sturdy. The mount is beautifully made, and the case is excellent. I will say that the case is the tightest fit on the phone of any iPhone case I can ever recall using, but that's not a bad thing - it just takes some patience to wiggle the case onto the phone.

   I ordered a Cygolite Metro Pro 1100 Lum light and sorta hated the handlebar mount for it, despite the light mount actually being really sturdy and fairly small for the price I paid - Anyway, the screw that holds the female part of the mount to the handlebar clamp has the same screw size and thread pitch as the threaded holes in the underside of the Quad Lock Out Front mount, so I was able to unscrew it from the Cygolyte handlebar mount and screw the mounting plate to the bottom of the Quad Lock mount, which decluttered my handlebars and gave a budget head unit/light solution a super professional look akin to the Garmin.

   Great mount for mtb. I use it with a Garmin 520 plus and it puts the computer in a great location. I ride pretty rough trails and it's very secure - no worry about the GPS flying off. As pictured, it puts the unit just over the stem (my bars are 35mm diameter and stem is 40mm long for reference).

   I have a Garmin Montana 610 GPS (a beast). Garmin has their own handlebar mount cradle that works pretty good, but you cant really get it over the stem on a 35mm bar. I was able to remove the Garmin cradle from the Garmin mount and drill two holes through the cradle to match this Barfly mount. Now I can securely carry my old-school beast of a GPS on my 35mm bar, centered over the stem. Very happy with the result, and the Barfly mount has been carrying this heavy GPS over some very rough terrain all summer without fail.

   Since most new MTBs have a very short step, this device works great for putting your Garmin (or just about any other cycling computer/GPS with all the adapters it comes with!) behind the handlebar where it is a lot less likely to take abuse during a fall. I've been using this now for a few weeks on my new MTB and I couldn't be happier with its sturdy construction and the way it works.
