This thing is amazing. I was skeptical. Local shop wanted 1800 to do my car. I did engine bay and frame on 72 Chevelle myself. Thing is impressive. Used regular 2700 psi compressor. Be prepared. Takes awhile. And eats sand up. Took 5 50lb bags to do engine bay and frame. Keep sand above wand or it gets wet and plugs hose. Would recommend all day

After reading all the 1 star reviews, I didn't have much faith that this product would work. I had an axle with nearly 30 years of rust on it that I wanted to strip off so I could paint it. My pressure washer is 3600 p.s.i at 2.5 gallons per minute, bellow the optimal P.S.I. and G.P.M., so I wanted to give it as much of a chance for success as I possibly could.

I used a 40000 psi, 4 gpm pressure washer with this sandblaster and it worked extremely well! Keep the hose above the nozzle and the sand dry and you won't have any issues. If I had known it worked this well, I would have purchased a long time ago!

Because of the mixed reviews I was hesitant on purchasing because I was afraid it wouldn’t suck up the sand. I decided to try it anyway as I had no other way to clean my grease covered transmission. I was surprised to find it worked flawlessly! I read the instructions. Used it exactly as they said. And had no problems. Instead of sand I went to harbor freight and bought glass bead blast media which worked awesome for cleaning up my aluminum transmission casing. For the money this tool is one of my favorites in the garage now.

This thing is awesome. I had a wrought iron railing that had been painted a dozen times. I bought a 50lb bag of baking soda from harbor freight to use with this. Took the paint right off. Made a little mess in the driveway but it cleans up pretty easy. Definitely worth the price.

Tried using the harbor freight 100lb media blaster with an air compressor. That was a fail; whatever you blast will ricochet and blast the crap out of you and get the sand and debris all over everything. Great exfoliation for your arms and everything not covered, but excessive amounts of sand in your butt crack. With this pressure washer attachment everything stays relatively clean and the dust/ sand stays knocked down. I was able to use this with sunglasses, shorts, and a t shirt while getting a better end result. The only thing that's kind of a bummer is whatever metal you blast is going to flash rust. The best rust converter I used was Eastwoods rust encapsulater. Pair these two together and you'll be golden.
