   This vertical planter is fun and functional! Each 4” pouch is perfect for a head of lettuce or basil. Even a single onion. The felt is thick. At least 1/4 inch. The rivets across the top look like hardy stainless steel. There are 72 pouches in all. Won’t look beautiful after the growing season, you might get 2 seasons. But there’s no plastic containers involved and it’s quite a space saver.

   These do best in a somewhat shaded area and planted with flowers/greens like lettuce. I say that because the pockets only hold so much dirt and when watering it can only keep the pocket moist for so long. Still, having pockets of lettuce plants growing outside is wonderful! I already had hooks on my porch to hold it - what could be easier?

   I'm super impressed with this little planter. I needed somewhere flexible and moveable for my herb garden, since I expect to be moving over the summer. This is very thick felt! It's a bit of a challenge to water (you have to hold the bottom away from the wall or you just get a massive waterfall effect) but overall I am super happy with it! I used eye hooks and quick links to hang it.

   Super excited for my vertical garden, I hope my herbs a survive. So far so good. A little difficult to water plants, water goes over the edges on to the next level (Maybe I used too much soil) A little messy, overall very happy with the purchase. It looks great.

   I gave my grandson this for Christmas. He wanted to grow things but it’s hard to do so in Florida because the bugs destroy everything. I knew my daughter would rather not have her son digging up the yard and bringing in all that mud into the house. So I thought this was an answer. Attached to the chain link fence limits the bugs who will find it. It also prevents the mud mess. He can plant, water, and maintain the plants without getting muddy which makes my daughter happy. I asked he what he would write for this product review and this is what he wrote, “Before I got the vertical garden I couldn’t grow anything because the bugs were killing my plants. But they haven’t bother it at all. I really enjoy gardening with this product.”s
