It came in a weird packaging but after it opened it immediately fluffed up. I do say it takes a day or two to fluff up to the max, but that's alright since my shiba inu is so soft and fluffy~ It does have wrinkles after you take him out of the packaging but after a day or two he's wrinkle free. In my opinion, no extra stuffing is needed! Works well as a pillow or just for cuddling, reccomend it!
