The aquarium has 18 LEDs (six each of red, blue, and green) that automatically change color, causing both jellyfish to “react” by glowing yellow, purple, aquamarine, blue, and red as they float within gentle currents generated by the unit’s silent, integrated motor

Manual color selection enables one color display. Set upon a bookshelf, tabletop, or desk, the aquarium plugs via USB or 3 AA batteries; automatically turns off after four hours. You receive 2 silicone jellyfish in each order.

I was skeptical for the price, and it does seem cheap in the box, but I agree with other reviewers. This is the jellyfish lamp to get. It’s so nice. I’m kind of obsessed with it now. So soothing. Great quality. I bought it used, like new. It was in perfect condition and would have been worth paying full price for it. If you’re looking for a jellyfish lamp, pay the extra money to get a good one like this. I hope it lasts a long time.

This thing is cool. I had to add more than just a few drops of soap, I poured it in a bit but not a lot, I'd say at least 15 drops. Give it time it will work. Before putting the jellyfish in, let the air bubbles settle out for 15 mins. You'll see the small bubble going up. If you have cats, I would be very careful cause you may end up with water everywhere and a fake jellyfish in the cats mouth as the cat runs away with it. Today was day one and so far no issues. The blue light is my favorite.

Saw this tank on our last cruise ship vacation and knew I needed to get one for my husband! At first he thought it was another goofy thing I’m always buying but after setting it up he soon changed his mind. We set it up in front of a mirror on hutch so even though only 2 squid in there it appears like more! The colors are so pretty, I love that it makes no noise (like aquarium does) - not to mention there’s no feeding or cleaning to be done! The grandkids absolutely love it and it’s quite mesmerizing and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this. I did purchase extra little swimmers but so far the two are quite sufficient.

I looked at all the jellyfish lamps Traby offers and chose this one as it looked more realistic in the photos, and I'm very glad I did. The tank is a good size...about the size of a 2 liter but taller, so there is plenty of room for the jellyfish to move about. Super easy set-up...I followed the directions and it was a snap! The jellyfish themselves are very pretty and their movement in the tank is very realistic! They even catch the current of the water under them causing them to move in the typical jellyfish fashion, as if they are breathing. The option of the lights changing colors is just a bonus. Everyone who saw this was mesmerized. I purchased this as a gift, but it's so great I'm considering purchasing one for myself.

Amazing how real it looks! I'm an adult and love it as a night light. I can't imagine how exciting it would be for a child to have one. I didn't know you need to use distilled water but we went to the hardware store (car section) right away so I could set it up. It's SO much more mesmerizing than the lava lamp I considered. It doesn't get hot either, unlike lava lamps.
