   I got a Mayo Clinic Newsletter article about sleep apnea and handed it to my partner, who is an outrageous snorer and has one or two seemingly near death loud choking incidents every night as well. He read the article and it recommended trying a device like this. The following night he tried the larger apparatus and WOW, problem SOLVED, after years of losing sleep and being on the verge of a break up or sleeping in a separate room. He says it is a bit uncomfortable and takes some getting used to and the plastic irritates his mouth in certain places (I think any protrusions on the device could be filed down with a dremel tool, or during a visit to the dentist), but he's happy that it is working. I also believe the way it changes the angle of his jaw prevents him from suffocating in his sleep and he gets better rest as well, which is better for his overall health AND mine.

   I bought this for my wife to use because it is usually impossible to endure an entire night in the same room as her since her snoring would always wake me up. I'm glad I made this purchase! She's been using it now for several nights and it is working great. I haven't been woken by any snoring now for the past couple of nights and I am feeling more refreshed each morning! Admittedly, this product is a bit more expensive than similar products but all I can say is that it is definitely worth it. If you've been missing out on getting a good night's sleep you can't go wrong with this product. 5 stars!

   The most important thing for me about this item is the hinge - my mouth falls open at night, and the non-hinged ones don't help when that happens...and I can wear my plastic retainers (kind of like the invisible braces) with this...the instructions in the package say you CAN have implants that are over a year old...I think I've tried every other type, the tongue-holding ones are ok, but my tongue comes out often. I'm not ready to pay for one at a dentist's office. This should do. It's all about the hinge for me. Brilliant!

   Waited a while to write a review to make sure I was comfortable with this, first night it was so uncomfortable I took it out after 3 hours, second night I wore it all night and didn't snore a bit, been using it consistently for several weeks with great results. Makes my wife happy because I no longer snore, but the real thing for me is that I feel better in the morning, I'm getting a much better nights sleep. It's not always comfortable, I generally wake up with some sore spots either on my tongue or my teeth feel a bit adjusted, however I love the benefits and so does my wife.

   My husband said he thought I was dead because I was so quiet--I slept 10 straight hours. I am feeling rested and have recommended the product to several people. I did experience discomfort at first, but it disappeared after a week or two. I would recommend that the product be manufactured with either the upper or lower a slightly different color to differentiate between them.

   After trying several useless items (mouth tape, magnetic nose clips, nose inserts, other mouth appliances), we tried this. Snoring stops immediately. We have been using this for months now. It's great! It's been completely effective and comfortable!
