Heavy Furniture Roller Move Tool

The furniture lifter set is very easy to use and can be used by anyone, no matter how strong. Use the moving tool to slightly lift the desired piece of furniture; then roll the motion pad glides underneath and slide your furniture and gadgets across the floor with ease.

We didn't use the lifter thing, but having the hard plastic sliders to move our heavy furniture on carpet was great. We left the heavy furniture sit on it for a couple weeks during painting and flooring. The blue foam did crush down with the imprint of the legs, but that didn't affect the usefulness. When we need to move off the old carpet onto the new wood floor, we just pulled out the blue foam piece and used it to slide one and it worked great. My flooring guy said he has used the lifter thing and it works great.

This simple bar has gotten me out of many pinches when I needed to lift something heavy. The sliders included are mediocre but the bar is the star of the set. I bought one of these for myself a number of years ago and was totally impressed with it. Showed it to a friend who does janitorial work and she too was impressed with it so for her birthday I bought her a set. Now my daughter just moved and needed help with furniture and I bought her one! I've been using this since I first saw it advertised on TV about 15 years ago. And I've used it ever since lifting sofas, heavy coffee tables, etc to put sliders under the legs and appliances to adjust the height of the feet.

I purchased this to lift a large 150 year old partners desk and place a rug underneath it. I purchased it so as not to damage the desk in any way. My husband lifted the desk with the furniture mover and I shoved the area rug underneath. It was so very simple and was much, much easier than my husband hoisting the corner of the desk and straining his back. If you need heavy furniture moved or lifted. This is a brilliant tool that will not damage your furniture. Glad to have it on hand if we need to move anything else.

I was skeptical as to whether or not the sliders would work as advertised. I believe part of my skepticism came from seeing television commercials for similar products. Often, things like this are advertised on television but end up being crap. After using these, I have to admit that they are not the junk I thought they could possibly be. I recommend these regardless of your body strength or age. They allow you to move your furniture with much less surface friction than pushing something across a carpet or hard floor without them.

This thing is amazing. Now it says one person can use it, but that depends. On the furniture for hardwood floors we were using the adhesive felt sliders and it takes two people one to lift and one to position the slider for a proper position because those adhesive sliders stick quickly (and our breakfront must weigh 250 lbs). But, on the rugs using the other sliders I lifted our six foot bureau myself (and it's heavy) and used my foot to kick the slider in, then got down and lifted it again to position. I was skeptical, but it really does work. Only negative thing I have to say is there is a soft cover for the flat head that fits under the furniture and it was always coming off, and now I can't find it.

I use these all the time! I'm always moving something and I use the pry bar to lift it and slide the slides under and away I go. I've moved VERY heavy furniture by myself. My parents and I recently bought a place together so I can help my dad. We combined two homes into one. There has been a lot of jockeying around since we moved in and it's no big deal with this kit. I slide something where I want to see what it will look like and slide it back if we don't care for it there. We've done this a lot!! 3 months and still fine tuning!
