   Love this filter. The media in mine had stopped rotating so i emailed them and their support team helped me fix it. To do this you need to clean the L shaped connector and the airstone. Put half a cup of water in the microwave for 1 min to heat up then put one tablespoon of baking soda and 3 tablespoons of vinegar until it starts fizzing up and then drop the airstone in there and leave it in there for 4 to 6 hours until you rinse them under hot water and put it all back together (:

   For a air powered filter, it's very satisfying how quickly this thing clears up foggy waters.
   
   Another good thing to leave a note on is that it is shrimp and other small aquatic animal friendly, you can have a dozen ghost shrimp next to the intake and they all will be able to rest easily sitting cm s from the intake. Good stuff!

   Pretty sure someone else would like this thing, does not include air pump. Which I was aware of, and I already had a air pump anyways so it all worked out just fine

   I would give this a 4 star review for 1 specific reason, but I don't want shy people away from it. It fixed my ammonia problem after trying everything and now stays at 0. It really boosted the tank cycle to a safe level for my frogs! The reason I would give it a 4 star is the foam filter it comes with slows the flow down so much it feels useless. I took it out and added used filter media in its place. That did the trick and now it flows great.

   I keep 4 of these on my Goldie tank, one with the original filter media they come with, and the other three contain bioballs, porous stone, etc, that came from a now retired external canister filter I used to run on this tank before. These Qanvee filters work great. You can put many different filter media inside, as the canister is large enough. Five stars.

   Very nice filter. Low maintenance. I added some cycled media to the bottom and it began tumbling pretty well after 2 days. Really like the aesthetic. Like the fluidized bed aspect and all the surface area. Suction is low but that works well for my fish and is no different than most air driven filtration. Of course it is variable to some degree depending on air pump size and or regulator usage.

   This product appears to be functioning correctly. I haven't taken any readings, of the tank water yet, but it appears the water quality has improved. The Fish don't seem to mind it being in their environment, so if they're okay with it, I am too.
