Super easy to use, very intuitive. I did not find instructions on the box but there are here on the product photos of Sunshine. Strong smell but I never used one before so nothing to compare it to; I had to go in my porch to avoid making the house smell, and I will have to take a shower after the use. The gradual heat feels very good in my neck (have been dealing with chronic neck issues for years). I hope it will help.
