My husband is a disabled veteran. He is not able to bend his legs and also has difficulties bending his back. He required my help putting on his socks and pants! This Easy on is AMAZING!!! I am a type 2 Diabetic and have limited mobility in my right leg. I need to use compression over the calf socks. Because of the trouble bending my right leg, it has been a daily struggle trying to put on my compression socks! Most days I would just give up or not even try! I wondered if this would work, and would be sturdy enough... my husband has problems with getting his socks on and has large feet (size 11 double wide). It took a bit of effort to get is diabetic socks on but once he got the technique down, he said he really like it and make it much easier. ..and yes it was sturdy enough!

It works well and is a great value for the price. Make sure you pull the sock onto the slider as much as possible so that the inside of the sock’s toe is right at the top of the slider. The first time, I didn’t do that enough, and my toes ended up several inches from the toe of the sock. After the sock comes around your heel, bend your foot upward and continue to push your foot forward until your sock comes off the slider.

Will be having hip surgery which I am preparing. Bought this sock aid now to practice before the surgery. It was easy to figure it out. Video was very helpful. I have small feet so my size 5 socks worked very well. Love that slider handle keeps the sock still on the handle when removing socks and that it grabs the cradle by the hook. Yes, no more bending down. I found it was better not to slip the sock all the way down the cradle. I crunch it near the top and the sock slips on better this way.
