HUGE TIME SAVER This is an easy product to use and does a fantastic job. Within three minutes we learned the amount of paint needed on the roller and how to get the best results. We had three rooms of orange peel and one room of flat surface. The orange peel required another back and forth compared to the flat surface but that is no big deal. Cut in time was cut into a quarter of the usual time required and the quality of the cut-in is actually better than 20 years of hand cut-in. HIGHLY recommended. I can guarantee from this day forward I will own one and give others for gifts.

This product does what it days it will.do. It makes painting around door and window frames very easy. It leaves everything clean and neat. You can use it to cut in at the ceiling as well if you have a non textured ceiling to slide it against. For what you pay for it you make back in saved time painting and there is no need for any tape. The key to this product is to roll off a little of the paint then move it in to the casings. This tool can save you hours of cutting in time. If you are comfortable with a painting pole they have a kit for that too and you can save even more time. I have tried other edge painters in the past and i have never had same results as i did with this one. Highly recommended.

So I saw the same reviews you did. Or may have. Some people (professionals) were playing the tool down. Well, good for them. They know how to cut-in / edge with a brush. I DON'T. i'm pretty bad at it, especially along the ceiling. This tool worked like a champ. AND, I did it on a heavy texture wall. You will need to keep good paint on there, and run it back and forth many times to get the edge final, but it works. I was really impressed. Would be great if they made the wheels a little stronger. I never broke them, but sounded like I was going to when pressing against the tool and rolling on texture to get the edge. Very happy with the tool.

My wife and I plan to paint a large family room and hallway with six framed doors, suspended ceilings and lower moldings. I hate recording and spending time on such a boring procedure. I checked out several tools to do edge work. I decided on this tool. It comes with replacement rollers and edge brushes. My wife declared "that will never work"! Well, I'm here to tell you this is a great device. Highly recommend buying it. Use the professional model where possible to add extensions if needed. I like to use tools that make the job easier. Great product design. Possibly the next improvement would include a shield used on both sides and possibly a smaller one for tight spaces. Either way it is a must buy. LOVE IT.
