Description

Children’s Sensory Indoor Therapy Swing

Sways, cradles, soothes away stress, excess energy and meltdowns in no time. 5 minutes of swinging provides calming effects for up to 4 hours. Perfect for kids with Aspergers Syndrome, Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) and Down Syndrome. Suitable for kids 3 years and older. Holds up to 200lbs (90kg)

Extra Fun: This cuddle swing is a 4-way stretch fabric (80% polyester, 20% lycra), making it soft to touch, yet durable and long-lasting. This means that your child can sit, lay down, and swing in it for hours without the fear of the fabric giving out.

A Must-Have For Every Special Needs Child: Swaddling gives children a sense of protection and blocks out unnecessary sensory input. This swing is a must for children who have a Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD, or those on the autism spectrum. Recommended for ages 3+.

Amazing Therapeutic Benefits: The swinging motion strengthens the vestibular and proprioceptive systems by teaching your child’s brain and body to work together. This sensory integration greatly improves your child’s coordination, balance, body awareness, and concentration.

Trusted By Occupational Therapists: Our children’s sensory swing is frequently recommended by occupational therapists and autistic schools. Swing therapy strengthens the head, neck, and core muscles which improves physical activities such as walking and running.

Easy Installation Indoors And Outdoors: Set-up can be completed in under 5 minutes, and the instruction booklet makes installation a no-brainer. This hammock swing can be mounted indoors as well as on an outdoor porch, swing set, or tree. The fabric is machine washable and can be air-dried.

This morning my son was upset and told me he was "going to my swing because I'm mad". He was calm after about 20 minutes of just being snug and hidden. We love this swing and it seems very sturdy after a few months of use.

We have really enjoyed this swing a lot. I can actually get in this swing myself with my toddler. The material of the swing it’s self is thin but seems sturdy. The hardware to hang the swing is included. the straps that hold the swing are a thick nylon. I recommend this for those hyper children on rainy days!

We have 3 of these hanging in our loft. We love them. The material is soft and the kids can sit and swing in different ways. They are even strong enough to hold an adult when anchored into a stud. We find them calming for our sensory kid because it hugs their body to give a relaxing feel.

This is a great swing for all kids but especially for children with Autism. It’s very calming and soothing. My grandson loves the feeling of “hanging” in the air. He loves to cuddle up inside the swing with a toy or to read a book. My other grandchildren love it too, they range from 2 to 11 years old. The swing is very simple to put up. It comes with a metal latch to hold it up. We added the attachment to a regular swing frame. But you could hang it outdoors from a tree etc. or it can be hung inside the house (child’s room for example). The fabric is very soft and stretchy. All items are well made and separated into individual plastic bags. It’s just so unique and fun. Great value for the money.

My daughter is 7 and about to be 8 and she's the sweetest girl in the world. She's super sensitive to touch, taste's, smells and light just like her daddy. We're also both full of energy! I spent about half and hour finding the studs in the ceiling (you'll need a stud-finder to hang this) and getting it hung, but man it is SUPER steady and isn't going anywhere. I feel completely safe letting my daughter swing around and lounge in this thing all day (and trust me, she does). It's sturdy enough to easily handle 200 lbs. The fabric is very soft and smooth the the touch and has a bit of give (stretchy, just a tad) which makes it very comfortable to lounge and swing around in. My only word of advice is not to hang this thing too close to the wall or it will completely ruin the experience, the kids need to be able to lay down on their stomach and stretch out their legs, or sit and gently swing back and forth. I recommend hanging it as close to the center of the room as you can without hitting the ceiling fan. The height is super easy to adjust on the fly. We love this swing!

When I first got this I thought it seemed kind of junkie like what is this just a random sheet. But it’s actually awesome easy to adjust can take the weight of at least 150 pounds without damage and we leave ours up in the rain all the time and it has taken no damage.

I have one child with sensory issues and another child that has Down syndrome and autism so we love our sensory swing! Wish I had known it didn't come with the hardware and I also bought a stud finder to make sure we installed it right but we love to swing. And I've even gotten it before and it really will hold me and I'm almost 300 pounds!

This swing is a message from God. My son has a lot of ADHD and he can get into a flurry or cry randomly. When he gets into this swing, it calms him down in no time. It comes with everything pictured, so YOU have to buy the hook and find a bare nail.

If you have a kid with sensory needs, you need one of these swings. If you have a kid who will not sit still, you need one of these swings. We have an open floor plan. The kids use it as a swing, as a spinning chair, a yoga sling, a jungle rope, a cocoon, an easy chair to read or watch TV in. They are on it 24/7 even after 3 weeks of having it. In fact it's used so much they fight over it. Bought another one so they can both use them at the same time. Now they are not the most aesthetically pleasing but if you have a special needs kid, odds are your house probably isn't winning any awards anyway unless you follow the kid around all day and pick up after them. I do not. This house is very lived in so I don't mind having a huge ugly swing in the middle of our living room (and a little trampoline too). Very sturdy!! The kids stand in it and it does not tear or stretch out. We love this swing!!!

Our twin 2 year olds have been loving their new indoor swing! Since they are only 2 they require our assistance but once they are settled inside they are content for up to 30 minutes at a time. An eternity in toddler time! It’s somehow both exciting and calming.

Great new material. We had purchased the past material and had to send it back. This one is a bit more sheer so I would go with a darker color if I ordered again, but it gives good feedback. My son is 9 years old, average height and about 55 lbs and he can get in and out on his own. We already had the two hoops installed, everything else came with set.

I'll first note....I was very skeptical buying a less expensive version of a swing like this based off all the reviews of all the less expensive brands. I did not have high expectations so I wouldn't be disappointed based on other reviews. I couldn't get myself to pay 100 pounds for the more expensive version when I didn't know if my kids would even like it. With that said..... I am impressed. Yes it is basically just a piece of fabric. Yes the fabric is super thin. BUT .... it doesn't stretch as much as I thought it would. I didn't have to hang it up super high like I thought I would based on other reviewers using it for little kids. I can hang it low enough where my 3 year old can easily get in it alone and it doesn't stretch nearly as much as other people made it sound..... Im sure for heavier/older kids it will stretch, but the material isn't as stretchy as I anticipated based on other comments. For older kids, it doesn't matter if it stretches anyways because they will be able to reach it. My kids like the thin material because they can see through it. I like it because I dont have to worry about them being suffocated in the material for my little ones when they are completely cacooned in their. It came with all the hardware. I can't see myself liking a more expensive version... it seems like it would be overpriced. For much older kids, I could see how the thicker material or double layer might be nice for more support or enclosed/dark/secure feeling, but for littles this one is perfect. It did take us a few tries to get comfortable with the different ways of swinging on it. Since there is a lot of material, it took some getting used to, but after a few tries, it is great for my kids to be able to swing in multiple ways.
