    I followed someone else's advice not to put the filter in. The instructions weren't super clear, but the pump should sit at the bottom of the base and the clear tube should just Barely fit through the hole of the top flower. At first I thought it had to go all the way through. Also, make sure you turn the pump power level down and fill with water slowly. Lastly, my cats make a mess flicking the water with their tongues so I keep a towel under it, and I keep it near the sink so that refilling it often is easy. The noise level gets louder when water level gets low.

    So far great! One of my cat's was recently diagnosed with cancer and went blind 2 weeks ago. It's amazing how he gets around the house and remembers where things are. He sits and waits to eat where he knows his food bowl is located. I noticed he was having a difficult time finding his water bowl so that's why I bought this. I knew he could hear the water. He figured it out in 5 minutes. It took one of my other cats a bit longer.

Remove the other basins and let it fit in with the water dispenser. One day later, the water dispenser was open to drink. I hope the water dispenser can increase the amount of water the master can drink.
