Description

Programmable: The timer allows you to set up to four automatic feedings per day. You can program it to feed at any hour of the day or night and have it deliver either a single or double or triple feeding.

Two Different Fixed Methods: The feeder has 2 install methods for you to choose from. One is to fix the feeder to the tank wall by using the holder. Another is to paste the feeder with a double-side sticker on the tank cover.

Moisture Prevents Design: Moisture-resistant hopper keeps fish food dry, won’t get wet or jammed. It accommodates most types of food, including flakes, pellets or crumbles.

Easily Add Food: Adding the fish food at the top of the fish feeder, not to take down the food bucket, so you can increase or decrease easily the amount of dispensed food.

Large Food Capacity: With a capacity of 200ml, its large size holds enough food to keep your fish fat while you’re away. Hatch style feed door is completely adjustable, allowing you to decide how much food is dispensed at each meal.

This feeder does exactly what I wanted. It's whisper quiet when it operates.

The adjustable door to control the amount of food has a few 'clicks' to control the opening size. I found them to be too far apart..one was too little food, and the next click was wayyy too much. I have it fine tuned between clicks which is easy enough, just give it a few test runs onto the table. Would buy again.

This thing works pretty well but I would not call it moisture proof. I had it in an area where the air stone was bringing bubbles up to the surface. The food inside got soaked fortunately I went back and checked it. The food inside was a nasty wet mess. I cleaned it out and actually move the Air Stone to the other corner of the tank and now it is working just fine.

It's easy enough to use, clamps to the side of the tank and the barrel spins to dispense food. Programming was a little weird but I also don't read instructions thoroughly so I can't say it's the product's fault. Can feed 4 times a day, but mine is programmed to twice a day once in the early morning and once in the evening. The opening that drops food is adjustable to the point that you can make it dump excessive amounts of food (depending on what you use in it). I think small round pellet food would fall through too much personally so I only use the circular, chip like flakes in it. I would recommend trying it out on the table or something and fine-tuning before attaching it to the tank. Also, consider if your hood can accommodate this product before buying. My tank uses black coroplast cut to size instead of an expensive hood, so this wasn't an issue.

Definitely a life saver for me, since I don't have to remember to feed my fish every morning and evening like a normal fish owner probably should. Batteries haven't died yet (there's a nice battery indicator for that too) but I imagine you'd have to reprogram after you change them. If you're only using this thing for a week or two of vacation, you shouldn't have problems with the feeder going dead. Definitely make sure you're not overfeeding, but it works. My goldfish like it and so do I.
