We used this tool after mixing joint compound and paint to a thick consistency and rolling onto a poor looking ceiling. After rolling the mixture onto the ceiling, we damped this roller and ran it over the mixture to make a textured look. Once it was dried, we threw a fresh coat of ceiling paint and it looked great!

Bought this to do my garage and was a little afraid that it might not hold up for the entire 30x34 room but did perfect. Was starting to show signs of wear at the end and probably wouldn't hold up for that much again. Will definitely buy another if I ever do a project like this again. Garage looks great.

The roller works fine if you know how to use it. Mix the compound thin and work fast. It takes some practice. Youtube makes it look easy but it's not....More
The roller works fine if you know how to use it. Mix the compound thin and work fast. It takes some practice. Youtube makes it look easy but it's not. I worked in small sections and got mixed results. The roller they sent me was flattened so they sent me a replacement the next day.
