Neither the appearance of the flashlight nor the appearance of it has degraded over time. It still works and looks the way it did when I first removed it from the box.

Can't beat it for the price. I live out in the country on a small farm & it is like a spot light. I can easily see all the way back to the wood line, which is pretty far from our house. You can focus the light to see long distance, or cone it out to light up an area around you. We use it at night to feed the livestock & check on them. I purchased a second one as a gift.

I live in a very rural area surrounded by woods and I was looking for a good light to be able to penetrate the woodline at night to see what my dogs are barking at and this flashlight does that and MORE!
