    I bought this reel thinking it was time to get a upgrade from my Abu Garcia Black Max, and found the crixus. This reel can cast a mile flawlessly dude. You've just got to know how to fine tune the brakes and you're golden! On top of that, the main selling point for me was the non-slip grips which are so damn comfortable, very comfortable. Over all from the grips to the sexy paint job, this reel works like a dream for the price. You cant beat it! On the first day using it i got at least 5 compliments about the color and how smooth it is to cast and retrieve.

Plenty of drag, reels nice, grips are comfortable, and this reel will last if taken care of!! Pair it with the nice Crixus rod and its an excellent combo! 😁This is a great brand, great company, and they have great products. I tell my friends all the time!! I love how it feels in my hand it is super lightweight and i love how it looks blue is my favorite color by the way. Im. Excited to get out in the water and try it out. It comes with a warranty, properly packaged well and a book to show you how to properly spool the reel for beginners like me.

I have already used it once on a fishing trip and it had no problem catching fish. It also was very hard to backlash and I could cast without my thumb even. Overall, it's such a good real for the money.

I’m not that smart and didn’t dial it in before use and I gotta birds nest, once I did dial it in it worked perfectly and smoothly. In my opinion this is the best reel for beginners. The handles are also super nice to hold. 5 stars
