The quality of this bazooka is better because the locking hinges are actually hinged. On a cheaper mold I've bought, the hinges are just molded on the side...and will snap off easily and break. Using this product makes better quality sushi, and there is less mess than hand rolling on a bamboo mat roller. You can't beat the price. Worth it.

Works as advertised! Needs sticky rice. I watched a YouTube review before using it, and putting oil on both sides and the stick and the cap really helped. I wasn't using sticky enough rice for the first go, and skipped the nori, and it fell apart. So definitely prep sticky rice, and don't skip the nori! East to clean, too. I just used a bit of soap and a dish brush to clean off the oil, which only took a minute or two. It was really easy to clean. I just

I bought this for myself and one for both of my sisters. We lovingly call it our sushi pooper and we all love the ease of this tool! Makes sushi making less daunting but also makes homemade sushi easily accessible for those random cravings you get! Best tip I have is to make sure your rice is going up over the sides of the chamber before closing. Definitely wrap in seaweed after plunging to hold the roll together better
