I'm not tech savvy, so imagine my surprise when I was able to setup and link this device on my own. And the signal strength was strong. I have connected several devices to it and the signal is amazingly fast. Not at all as I expected. The best part is reliable speed with my carrier service. No more lag or reconnecting issues. When I open my laptop, camera, kindle, or Alexa echo its instant. I came across this item in an add while browsing YouTube, and luckily they had exactly the same item. I've had it for several months and I'm happy with it so far.

This was purchased for a church. The main cable router is located in the main office in the center of the building with the financial office being 200 ft away through 7 walls. The financial office laptop had no wifi signal strength. This repeater was plugged in half way between the 2 offices. There are 3 walls and 3 doors at a 100' distance between the financial laptop and this new repeater. 5 minutes to plug in the repeater and type in the necessary wifi system login information and bang, all bars lit up and the financial laptop is online. Unexpected benefit, the Fellowship Hall in the basement also now has wifi. Couldn't be happier with this low cost solution, hey, it was for the financial secretary, gotta watch the budget....

My application was to use this as a Wi-Fi access point where the SSID is the name of my network. I connected it to an ethernet port and plugged it. I followed the instructions for AP mode and it connected right away. Using a WiFi analyzer, I saw both WiFi routers with different signal strengths as expected. As I walked between them, one diminished and one increased as expected.

I've been having problems with buffering while listening to stations OR Pandora on my cell phone while doing yard work. I don't want to blast a radio, especially since I go from the front to back yard continuously. So, after a few well-spent minutes with tech support I was successful in being able to hook into the repeater using my cell phone. The TRUE test was today...I had yard work to do. My house sits on about 1/4 of an acre, so I can't vouch for anyone with a larger property. But, there were NO buffering areas, NO loss of signal, NO PROBLEMS AT ALL!!!! I am completely thrilled with this item. I HIGHLY recommend!!!

It was simple to connect to and setup this wifi expander; took less than 5 minutes, start to finish. It fills the dead zone at my house (concrete cinder block extension, which previously had 0 connectivity), without a noticable decrease in speed. Quite happy with my purchase; got exactly what I wanted! My boy no longer has an excuse for running out our cellular data plan while playing pool with his friends.

So i bought this with little expectations going in. My upstairs and garage are dead zones for wifi signals. I figure i would give it a go. Both areas would constantly drop signals, interrupt service or just plain old send you into eternal buffering. Well i order this beauty, plugged it in, followed the super simple instructions and haven't had a drop signal/dead zone yet. Granted it's only been 3 day... But so far it is doing exactly what they advertise!
