Received the Honcho Poncho yesterday--a few days before the earliest possible arrival date. I've been wearing it since I opened the package. It's like wearing a warm blanket. While the fabric is a bit crinkly, I can deal with that. I like the color, the price was at least half of the price of another brand that I saw in an outdoor store, and I like the color (purple) better. It was worth the wait, though I would have appreciated ability to track package.

I thought I would mostly use this to stay warm around the campfire, but I wore it to get warm before bed, as an extra layer over my sleeping bag and for running to the washroom in the night. It kept me cozy and I got a surprising number of compliments on it! It was quite big and I thought it would be awkward but it was great!

This is a very warm addition to my outdoor adventures. I am pleased with it. The only thing I would recommend is to make the holes for the pockets larger, I cannot put my hand inside them. I did not buy it for my hands; but for the warmth I knew it would provide me, that is why it stands at a five.

I have been wearing this outside over my pajamas at night when I’m having to take my new puppy out to pee. I live at 6800’ so it gets pretty cold at night even though it’s summer. It has also gone on a few camping trips too. It’s nice as a blanket. It’s definitely lightweight and a huge poncho.
