    We had a previous baby gate that would just pop on to the wall with rubber mounts and my 9 month old son kept knocking it over. Even the dogs started knocking it over. We decided on a retractable gate also for convenience so our wall wouldn't be ruined and the baby couldn't get hurt. This gate is literally such a blessing. The mesh material is soft and the baby doesn't try to mess with it, but it's still enough that he can see us and is ok. A plus is the different locking mechanisms that the gate can stretch or stay at its stretched capacity, and it can be locked so my older kid can't mess with it as easily. Such a great convenience! And I love the rose gold/champagne color. This is the modern era of baby gates!

    Easy retractable dog gate that's child friendly! We needed a gate to keep our big 80lb dog from sneaking upstairs when we are out or the kids forget to close the bedroom door. The biggest reason for this purchase was to install a gate that's discreet (see pic of gate not closed) and not bulky but super easy for my kids 4 & 7 year old to use (open and close) as well. It's easy for them to open it and close it, it's not the sturdiest gates for a dog that may try to jump or go through it since it's see through which is also a plus for us. Our dog would never try and jump over it because she's not a jumper.

    I love the idea of having a baby gate that is attached to the wall and is mesh. This way even my dog will stay away from it. I also love that I can take the entire baby day off and just leave the hardware. Because I put the baby gate outside on my porch this will be perfect when I know that my baby is not going to be outside so it doesn't get messed up from the weather. It's very very easy to use and I love that it locks in place so that when my baby is big enough he won't lean against it and stretch it out and possibly fall. Overall I think it's a very handy gate and I would purchase again if I needed another one. The install was great, I love that it comes with extra Hardware so you can place it in different places in your house.

    Needed a baby gate for grandkids that don't come over daily. Didn't want one that had to be up all the time. This one fits the bill, easy to install takes up little room and works great. Not worried about kids sliding under as I watch them when they are in my care, this is just to keep them from inadvertently falling down the stairs.

    This product was very useful for my purposes. The gate is basically like a side mounted roller shade. You pull it out and across the opening and catch the two plastic loops on the two plastic hooks, then twist the lock on the top of the roller mechanism. Visitors were impressed with this gate and inquired about it.

    My most favorite thing about the baby gate is the spare mounting brackets so that we can relocate from the living room to our deck so easy. Once you figure out the hole placement it only takes minutes to install. I really like that it's a see-through mesh barrier. This is a great alternative to clunky wooden baby gates and metal gates.
