I wanted a good monocular I could put in my pocket and take to the theatre. Well this one does the job. It is large, I knew this when I bought it, but it does easily fit in my sport jacket pocket. The larger size allows a lot of light to enter the front element. It is sharp and the larger size allows me to hold it steady.

I was a little skeptical after reading a lot of reviews about this. But for the money, it is very well made and very worth while. It's a little bigger than I'd hoped for but it's only the size listed in the description. The field of vision is perfectly matched to the above average power. In other words, it's easy to find the object in the lens that you want to view and the field is wide enough that the object doesn't jump around in the view, like cheaper ones do. This is very high quality.....but don't drop it. The case if protective and should be used when not viewing something. Easy to carry and good for packing. Quality optics. Quick to focus, with or without glasses.....but I find it's much quicker (and view is larger) if I take my glasses off. Would purchase again.

Very surprised at the great way this little telescope works. Was expecting something toyish but this is sturdy and works like a charm. Might get a second one just to put in the car. Very pleased. easy to focus and does exactly what I purchased it for. birdwatching. We have been able to identify several birds using our feeders.

Although bigger than a little pocket monocular, this is a great little scope. I purchased it after having one of Barska's variable power scopes on my large caliber hunting rifle. The optics are nearly as clear as those costing hundreds more. I deffinately recommend one for bird watching, hunting, or any time you need a clear view of your objective.

The monocular itself is very high quality. Its waterproof, it has a nice solid feel to it, it has a wrist strap, it's textured and has placements for your fingers for added grip. It comes with a black cloth case, the monocular fits snug inside and the case it has a loop so you can pull your belt through it and keep it by your side. The eye piece works as intended, but you have to place it carefully over your eye so you don't get your eyelashes to interfere with your view. You can adjust the eyepiece it for better clarity based on the distance of the object you are looking at. You do this by simply twisting it clockwise or counterclockwise. It takes a bit to get it just right and property adjusted, but it does the job. It also comes with a cover for the eyepiece and for the lens. I could see how these could be easily lost, you can slide them into the case, but there isn't a whole lot of room for storage. Overall the view is clear and for the price I think you get a very high quality monocular. I intend to use mine for camping and kayaking.
