I love these containers. They are a wonderful addition for summer gardens. I keep fresh berries & small vegetables in them to keep fresh until I have enough to can, freeze or dehydrate. I also use them just to keep things fresh. I hand wash these in natural dish detergent. I never use mainstream dish detergent that could absorb chemicals or scents.
