I purchased the 21 inch baton after looking at many others. This is lightweight and very easy to carry. I wanted to be able to protect myself on my walks after a couple were injured by a loose dog recently. This item is so easy to carry and easy to operate, should the need arise. It is very strong and sturdy. After getting this I ordered another for my daughter. I also ordered the smaller size for our cars to keep nearby. I have since recommended this product to a few of my neighbors.

It's pretty cool, I think in my head I thought it would be way cooler and snap out really fast but it works good. It pops out and it's kind of stiff to put back in you have to hit it on a hard surface pretty dang hard, but that's good. Otherwise it would try to retract all the time on its own.
