You have to fold your clothes anyway - it only takes an extra second to fold each piece around one of these sturdy plastic organizers. The ribbon holds everything in place and you can stack your sweaters or t-shirts like books on a shelf. My closet is so, so organized now and I'm so happy that when I want a t-shirt from the middle of a pile, I'm not making a mess. Would really love to get a few more - but they seem to be sold out and I can't find them anywhere else.
