i was super skeptical about getting this because i read reviews about how difficult it is to assemble and the lack of instructions BUT i actually love it! its a super cheap price, the video is super easy to follow along, and im just so happy with it. they give you double sided tape so theres no mess with glue and the pens are super vibrant against the black paper. as long as youre willing to put in the time, its great! i would say it took me roughly an hour to put together the boxes (not including time decorating)

I bought this to do something extra special for my daughter's Sweet 16. I love the concept. It seems a little difficult to assemble at first as there are no written instructions, but once you get the hang of it it actually goes along quite easily. The gel pens and stickers that are included were perfect. I'm not one for scrapbooking, but I actually really enjoyed making this for her. It turned out absolutely beautiful and got a lot of "Wows!" at her birthday party. It went over so well I'm thinking about ordering another one to put together for my mother in law. I would highly recommend this as a unique and beautifully sentimental gift!

I loved this! I bought it for an anniversary present and I had a lot of fun putting it together. A few of the papers did come a little bent but it wasn’t hard to bend them back. It also came with these gel pens that I didn’t think I would use but showed up really good on the black. It came with these little edge stickers for the pictures and they are amazing. They’re little triangle pockets so you can take the picture out if you want to. The ribbon it came with was very pretty. The tape stuff was really easy to use. My only recommendation is to follow the video more closely because I kinda just did my own thing and it took longer.

My daughter had my husband purchase this box as a gift for a friend, thinking it came assembled. (Obviously neither one actually read the description or even looked at the pictures) Guess who ended up with the task of putting this thing together? Me, of course. At first, the directions were confusing and I assembled the first layer incorrectly. We then watched the video on the product listing, and that helped tremendously (as did the glass of wine I drank while watching the video). My daughter printed several photos to use inside. Word to the wise: print different size photos, even wallet sized. Otherwise you’ll be cutting a lot of the picture off.

First, I do think the video is a bit helpful but some what fast. However, I am a visual learner, so it was helpful for me. I just had to replay it multiple times. The double sided tape inside is a hit or miss. I used glue sticks and a glue gun to help me too. On the edges of the corner of the top of the boxes, I think squeezing some glue with the glue gun made it more sturdy. So it is my suggestion. For the card stock to stay on the item I used a regular glue stick and glue gun. I ended up having double sided tape left over because it didn't seem more useful other than assembling the box together. It does hold up pretty well and makes an awesome gift. You may or may not use all the tops in the kit if you decide to add other items in between the sections as gifts.

It was a lot of fun to put together, but takes some time and work. Not something you can really do in one day, which isn’t a problem as long as you are prepared. Lots of tutorial for ideas on various web sites.

This is such a great gift for anyone. Daughter, son, wife, husband, boyfriend, grandma, grandpa, mom, dad etc.. I really enjoyed all the different sizes and shapes that came along with it. There are tutorials that explain how to do most of the project which is super helpfully! This explosion box was pr ably one of the best I have ever purchased. My boyfriend absolutely loved his explosion gift! It is a one of kind, kind of gift. It is super precious. Very fun activities for kids as well. Highly recommend!

I bought metallic pens with this product and found it works quite well with 4 x 4 pictures. There’s space in the middle that comes with a small box for you to place a gift inside. It was a perfect 1 year anniversary gift that my boyfriend was blown away by. Thank you so much!!!

I used this box to create a gift for my daughter's birthday surprise! And it worked very well as there were many props included for a variety of options to choose from, with UNLIMITED photos (on Sendacake you can include only 4 pictures)!!! The only thing I had to purchase separately and add was the flying butterflies to emphasise the effect. My girl was impressed - thank you!

This was so worth the money !! I wasn’t aware that it came with pens and stickers and decorations along with the box!! I was a little confused in the beginning but the instructions it came with was easy to understand also the instructional video also helps a lot. The whole process took about 20-30 mins to set up and the box turned out so well!! My boyfriend absolutely loved it and it was an amazing keepsake :-)
