I wanted to make some Spritz cookies for a Valentines' Day party. I had the recipe, but didn't have a cookie press. I purchased this one and it did a good job. My recipe said to chill the dough for 3 hours. I should not have done this. It made the dough too stiff for this press, and you couldn't push the handle. I was afraid it would break. None of the recipes that came with the press said to chill the dough.In fact the manual said do not use chilled cookie dough in the press. I let the dough warm up to room temperature and then it worked like a dream. The press comes with a heart disk, and it worked well. As others have mentioned, I like the clear canister so you can see when you're nearly out of dough. I had so much fun making my cookies, I made one of the other recipes too. It was very good too, but didn't taste as good as my recipe.

I am very happy with this purchase. Easy to use, easy to load, easy to press out cookies with a consistent form, and easy to clean. Using the cookie press for the first time yesterday, I was impressed with its performance. I have an older style press from 30 years ago, which was getting difficult for me to use. The lever action makes pressing out a cookie a breeze. Yes, the first one or two cookies on the sheet are not great, but once you get the dough situated in the tube, presto!! As for the first one or two cookies that are odd, I just grab them and place then back in the tube when refilling.

I have arthritic hands so I was looking for a cookie press that would be easy to use and this one fits the bill. I used the butter cookie recipe included in the package and got rave reviews. A couple of tips - watch your baking time closely. I found 6 minutes was perfect. Also, don’t grease your pan at all or the dough won’t stick enough to come away from the press.

Took a few tries to get the hang of using this, but once I got going, it was very easy! You have to punch them out directly onto the cookie sheet, will not work to punch out onto parchment paper. The dough doesn’t stick and will not come off the press as it should. Just a tip - once I realized that was the issue and punched them directly onto the cookie sheet, it was so easy! A nice product!

This is such a great cookie press! Very sturdy and very easy to use. The clear tube makes it so easy to see how much dough is left. The stainless steel disks are durable! I tried a different brand, less expensive, before returning it for this product. The other brand's disks bent during the first use. These are high quality, & very strong. A great product that makes amazing cookies quickly. Highly recommend this cookie press!!!
