Clipless To Flat Pedal Adapters

Crankwork adapters are the original universal clipless pedal to platform adapters that let you convert your road or mountain bike for casual riding. The pedal adapters are made from 100 percent aircraft aluminum, so they are very light and durable.

Features include integrated traction pegs, molded finger holds for easier handling, a 6mm Allen wrench slot to help for pedal removal, a curved bottom to mimic road shoes for better attachment to road pedals, and the ability to add a custom strap!

I have clipless pedals on my recumbent "tadpole" and I often use it to go to local stores. With these pedals I can switch to street shoes which makes shopping a whole lot easier. I fashioned a strap to keep my feet on the pedals and with the cleats positioned around the pedal and the strap they've never dropped my feet off.

They are easy to put on and take off, but I haven't had any accidental removals. These have a larger platform and worked well riding around on fire trails. I wore them with Keens and trail running shoes. Both worked fine, but they did particularly well with the keens.

These are really great for riding in my neighborhood, where there are Speed Bumps and Intersections where I would want to clip out when stopping is probable, The other thing about these, if you are clipped in, and go into a turn, make sure your inside foot is raised or the Corki's will scrape the road. If I was going to use these 100% of the time, I might get two sets. You do need an extra set of cleats. I had an extra pair, so it was no big deal.

Good construction and size for a size 10 shoe, and even a 43 Birkenstock, but i forgot to get the clip adapters for the pedals, i did attach them and test them out on a 3 mile journey. I would buy them again. They are light and sturdy, I just can comment on the connection and how well the Stay in Place.

These are a great product and well made. Unlike other reviewers, I do not find these difficult to mount to the pedal. If are having trouble clipping them in maybe you should try hitting the gym for some upper body exercises. I bought these after breaking my leg as I did not feel safe being clipped in and they work great and was a less expensive option than buying a new set of pedals. Also, these give the option of a platform pedal without having to change pedals.
