I first used it and i was not impressed. but then I decided to read the directions. Once I had a bowl of water and the grill still warm to hot. It worked very well. Still need to add a bit of pressure but it does the job. I would like to see a small "hook" to get the underside of the great but it is a good tool. My stainless grates look almost new when I am done.

Looked for a barbeque grill cleaner without the steel bristles. After reading several instances where the bristles broke off and became imbedded in the meat, and were then consumed, I really wanted a brush without bristles that cleaned the grill. If you follow the directions - dip the grill cleaner in water and scrub the hot grill, it works great! I love this grill cleaner!

I read that you are not supposed to use stainless steel bristles on porcelain coated barbecue grates. This was advertised as being safe for those grates. I've only had the opportunity to use it once, but it did what I needed it to do! I can see where the coils would be safer then a sharp bristle. So far I am happy with my purchase!

We recently got a new built in BBQ and were told by the guys who built it to get a bristle free brush because the metal bristles can break off and get in your intestinal tract sending you to the hospital. That was a risk my husband and I were not willing to take so we ordered this brush. It is easy to use and does a good job cleaning the grill. It is recommended that you use water to clean it so my husband has a container of water by the grill to dip it in after cooking.

Product feels very sturdy, but time will tell. As for function, it does work, but is fairly difficult to use. The picture showing the man cleaning his grill is accurate as it appears to show him using both hands and really bearing down. It works well for the top layer, but doesn't reach down into the grooves at all. A brush with wire bristles would reach into the grooves with ease. So if you're looking for ease of use, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for something that won't drop pieces of wire on your grill and don't mind it not cleaning the grooves in your grill, then this brush appears to be adequate.

this works great. it doesn't leave the metal bristles on the grill. I placed the brush inside the grill during a move and my wife turned it on without knowing it was in there and it didn't even melt. but the handle does get hot if too close to the grill when its in use, like all others. im happy with this purchase.
