   I would not torture my little dog. This doesn’t seem to hurt her ears; it just gets her attention. I was having trouble with her not heading my command “Schnauze“ (German for snout or mouth) I used the ultra sound with my command and it worked the first time. I pushed the button less than a second. I’ve used the instrument several times and now she responds to my voice only command without the ultra sound.

   It definitely works. I like this version better than a collar that shocks/vibrates. I have to put it next to my ear for me to hear the slight humming that us humans can hear. I only had it on option one while I filmed and uploaded for you all to see. It gets his attention and as you see, he went to sit down after hearing it.

   Recently my two dogs have started barking more than usual when someone walks by or comes to the door. The first time I used it on setting 1, I thought they were going to have a heart attack, but they did stop barking immediately. Since then I have probably only used it two times. I don't want to panic them, but they do bark less. Problem is that I usually don't have it right with me when they start to bark. Plus if only one dog is barking, I hate to make the other think he is getting reprimanded. I think it is perfect if you only have one dog.

   I'll admit I was skeptical. Actually very skeptical, but the insane barking at every noise outside was driving my crazy. This thing stops the barking immediately. I haven't been using it long enough to know if it will change long term behavior but the satisfaction of stopping the girlfriend's little yapping dog is worth 10X what I paid for this thing.

   I started using this since my dogs are a bit older and want them to listen and be safe not to run off. I can tell they hear it because they look at me of course. The 2nd button hurts their little ears so I try not to mess with that one, but the 1st had them coming to me. So far so good! If anything changes I will be sure to update this. I would suggest this for any training at home to help.
