   It's beautiful, and I love it, however in spite of how well it was packaged, it came to me broken. (one of the torches completely broken off, lay in the wrapping). And too, I will say that the description is misleading in that it is described as a bronze finish, key word here "finish" what it means to say is that it is bronze in color only. Over all the piece is heavy and of sturdy resin construction, I suspect it is extruded as one piece, or perhaps cast in a mold. It is the small bits that the Goddess is holding that are subject to most damage in shipping. *Note, it was such a clean break that a dot of super glue fixed it up, no problem. You can't even see where it was broken, and secured it back nicely, because it is a plastic. To be honest I am almost sure that it was much less of a hassle to have secured it with glue rather than to have packed it back up, and sent it back, only to wait again for another to arrive, The shipping on this item took the long end of the anticipated shipping time, which was 6-10 business day's. It took exactly ten days to receive.

   Oh My Goddess! It's absolutely beautiful. I don't think they mentioned in the product description but it has a felted base so it won't damage your wood furniture. The photos don't do it justice. The colors are very subtle but the details are more pronounced in person.Thank you so much to the artisans who made this. I've been waiting and watching for the perfect Hecate statue and this is it!    Hecate is my favorite Greek Goddess. About 12 years ago, I contacted Sacred Source to ask about being able to do a one-of-a-kind personal work because they didn't carry any Hecate statues that resembled the one I wanted. They informed me that it would be quite an expensive and time consuming process. I started drawing my ideas, based on the actual works of the museum and the artistic image of the goddess. However, over time I gave up on it and concluded that it was really unfair for me to be the one to pay a large sum of money for this statue when it was clear that there would be a huge demand for a statue. so. So I gave up on it. Then I came across this statue by chance. The statue that I envisioned is rendered almost perfectly in this work. The only difference is that one of the characters has a different crown, one of the characters has a crown that is almost like a flower but I chose a crown with a circular icon, and each Objects should hold different objects. For example, I envision each character holding a torch and a tool, such as a key, a dagger, and a snake. So what we have in this statue is a character holding two torches, a character holding a torch and a dagger and the last character holding a key and a snake. Close enough! The statue is nice and has a good weight. The bottom is covered with felt to avoid any scratches or scuffs to the top of the furniture. The character holding the key and the snake wears a pink/purple dress and wears a standard crown on top. The snake she carries is green. The character holding two torches wears a blue outfit and wears a flower-like crown on his head. The figure holding a dagger and a torch actually has a yellow or green dress, which you can't really recognize from the photos. She is wearing a tiara with rays of light. Overall, colors are very subtle and one thing I've noticed is that over time it becomes harder to distinguish which colors and especially from a distance. beautiful and would be a great addition to the collection.

   This beautiful depiction of Hecate in her three forms is very detailed and worth the price. The first form wears a blue robe, hold two torches and has a crown with a crescent moon. The second is clad in rose colored robes and holds a key and a serpent. The third is clad in green robes and carries a torch and a knife/dagger. Hecate is said to be favored by Zeus, king of the Gods. After the Rebellion of the Olympians over the Titans Zeus allowed Hecate to keep her titles and privileges as the Queen of the three Kingdoms; the Heavens, the Earth and the Underworld(or Seas by other accounts). She is the Goddess of the crossroads, midwifery, ghosts, healing, and magic. She is a must-have for Hecate lovers or just Greco-Roman statue lovers in general.

First I was annoyed about because the items she is holding are made of bendy plastic, until I realized that the flexibility is probably there to prevent them from easily breaking off the statue. Then I was no longer annoyed about that feature and I was like "OK, right on". The statue itself is very pretty and she has center stage on my alter.
