I wasn't sure a sandblaster this inexpensive wouldn't end up as expensive junk in my shop, but I was wrong. Used the walnut shell medium and tested it out last night on several rusty hand tools, a rusty shovel, and (just out of curiosity) a painted stone yard statue where the paint was flaking off and it looked terrible. Worked really well on everything I tried. The yard statue is perfectly prepped for a new coat of paint. I'm handy, not crafty, but if that's what you wanted this for, I suspect it would be very helpful, and about as easy to use as a glue gun. Be sure to wear gloves and eye protection--this is a real tool, not a toy, and from a long ago experience, you do not want to learn how it feels to hit your fingers while spraying. All in all, this is a total win. When it gets warmer, I'll use it to clean up some old metal lawn furniture. If my opinion changes any, I'll update my review, but on first use, 5/5.

The sand blaster is lightweight and super easy to use. Setup was quicker than I thought, as all I needed to do was tape and tighten the 1/4 air hose plug. The plug that came with the sand blaster was a 1/4" NPTF type Q high-flow (I think), but I use type M fittings with my hoses so I used my own plug (see pic of the difference). The original is on the left and my type M is on the right. The sand blaster feels smooth when pressing the trigger. The more I squeezed, the faster the flow, so I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth that went. Lastly, I appreciate that the sand blaster's regulator is 1/4 turn, making it quick to release and stop flow of the abrasive.

It does take a bit of a learning curve to operate (first time user). But eventually, I got the hang of it and it worked smoothly. Using a sandpaper is great for flat and smooth surfaces, but a tool like this is essential for getting paint off those places where the nooks and crannies where angles are simply not possible or efficient with the traditional sandpaper – thus, this is where this machine really shines. Now, I do not know how I did stuff without it. So, it does come with the machine itself, the extra tip, a quick connector, and a filter. There is an adjuster knob that controls the flow of material being blasted out – which provides good control.

I had two tables that I wanted to revive because of an upcoming reunion event that will be held here at home. Due to some bad luck, my old pal sandblaster broke and I was left with no choice but to buy a new one. Saw this product. "Oh, a new gun? There are no reviews." was what I first thought. I decided to order this one because the description interested me. I just would like to say that this didn't disappoint me. My gamble paid off! This particular gun isn't tiring to use and my project ended up being quite enjoyable. Now my tables are ready and are waiting to be used. Thanks!

I purchased this gun to replace a gun I purchased last year that just was a real pain to use. This gun has performed flawlessly. I've used it primarily to clean motorcycle parts and outdoor ornaments. Easy to set up and light weight for moving around with. My only complaint is that the airline connector included was not the right one for a quick connect 1/4" setup. I replaced it with a spare that I had here from other air tools. It is easy to fill and with the two different nozzles and the flow adjuster it has proven invaluable. Being a gravity fed instead of a siphon gun your only connection is the air hose which makes it quite flexible in where and how it is used. Great bang for the price!

Low cost and easy to use sand blaster is perfect for any hobbiest. I needed to use it to clean my intake manifold on a mini cooper but will also be using it to clean the old paint of the rims of my car (the were painted when I got it). If using play sand from the store, be sure to dry it out first, possibly bake it if you're low on time. The eye protection was included with my purchase which was nice. I would recommend using a respirator with it. Also, if you're using this with 1/4 inch quick connect, you'll need your own connection.
