I don't use this for hunting or camping (at least not yet), but it's very convenient, easy to put on and take off, and keeps my black-haired pup cooler in the Southern California summer. I typically use it for walks or at the dog park, but we've gone on a few hikes with it as well. Would definitely recommend.

This fits my small dog perfectly. So easy to put on and the harness attachment is a great feature. Definitely keeps her nice and cool. My only complaint is that I wish it would be just a little thinner. However the thickness would allow longer walks as it would hold moisture longer. My walks are usually in the evening and only last about an hour. We’re never in the direct sunlight but I live in the Sacramento Valley of California where it can be 95° at 8 o’clock at night. This works great to keep her cool.

This cooling vest works fantastic! We live in South Florida and my doggy goes everywhere with me, even work. And he can overheat very easily. This absolutely keeps him much cooler. And I felt underneath the jacket and it was like an a/c unit was on! The vet took his temperature with the jacket on but it was almost dried out (2-3 hours to dry) and he was 2 degrees cooler than most dogs. Very pleased. Thanks!!

Wow!! Super impressed, dig was nice and cool in 98° heat. Took him a little bit to get used to putting it on, but he seemed to really appreciate his own personal air conditioner. Light weight, great for hiking, camping, beach day, easy to ring out and put on the dog (as long as they're cooperating LOL). I have a springer and got a large, it's a little loose, but you can tighten it under the belly. I'm getting one for my sister's black lab

I ordered this cooling vest & another brand cooling vest because I was unsure if the other would fit my dog. I was going to Death Valley and wanted to make sure I had one before I left. The other brand cooling vest was one of the top rated cooling vests you could buy. Upon getting both cooling vests, the juxzh Truelove Dog Cooling Vest was true to size according to their chart. The juxzh Truelove Dog Cooling Vest was also much better made than the other cooling vest. I was kind of skeptical about these cooling vests having never used one before. I have to say everytime I put my hand in between this cooling vest and my dog it was cool. It did a noticeably great job at keeping my dog cool & I am so glad I bought this one.

I used this on my chocolate lab on a sunny 90 degree day in the dry climate of New Mexico. It definitely kept her cooler for about 2 hours of our 4 hour hike as it dryed out. I saturated it before our hike and hope it would last the duration but it definitely had dried out by 2 hour mark and was no longer cooling her. Next time will have to pack extra water to re-wet the vest so it continues to be effective.
