I have used this on several occasions now, and would like to let you know that it works really well when you are adding Dry or liquid components to any thing you are mixing. It is one of those items that you wish KitchenAid would have put in the initial package when you purchased it.Clean Up is very simple and very easy to do with your fingers and running water. Flour and liquid type substances wash right off.This is well balanced and just sits on the rim of the mixing bowl. Sometimes I would think it might have been better if would snap into position, If your hands shake or you let the measuring cup sit / rest on the edge. But, you can not do this as it will come right off.Overall this shield does everything it is suppose to do. It is an exceptional value for them money. If you have a stand mixer that you use a lot you might want to consider this as a purchase you should make.

This is a great pouring shield. I bought this because the one that came with my KitchenAid mixer doesn't seem to snap on correctly on the left side. It slips off often and I got tired of fixing it so I bought this replacement. This works wonderfully. It snaps on securely and stays in place until I want to physically remove it. It does its job very well. It is easy to clean and easy to store. I would happily buy the same brand again.

This is a perfect accessory to your KitchenAid mixer. Super easy to attach to side of bowl, and makes it much easier to add dry ingredients while something is already in the bowl and mixer is running. This prevents a lot of excess flour getting on your cabinet and all around your mixing area.

Well, I expected to add this to my drawer of fails....but WRONGO.....this is a terrific tool for me. I was able to pour into my Kitchen Aid without spilling all over the counter. the shield stayed in place and I was able to snap it off and wash it in warm water. I have used it for the dry and the wet ingredients and have had success. This is a must have for me!
