Grinder Wood Carving Chain Disc

The Grinder Wood Carving Chain Disc takes the muscle work out of cutting, carving, removing, and sculpting of wood, plastics, ice, and hard rubber with the speed. The blade is held in place between two steel plates which provide a secure grip for cutting, carving, removing, and sculpting. This grinder chain disc is great for curved work, like the inside of bowls and fast waste removal.

Features:

The 4-inch diameter chain 22 tooth fine cut carver can cut in any direction while making the smooth cut, providing a smooth “finished” surface which is great for minimal sanding afterward.
Great for curved work, like the inside of bowls, cutting discs, resin metal cutting wheels for plywood, melamine, wood, stone, metal, plastic cutting, and fast waste removal.
Made of durable steel carbide. Chains can be either be sharpened using a chain saw file or replaced as need be.

Ok so this thing is by far the coolest thing I have ever bought I used it to carve out a inset for my anvil to sit in the top of a stump then went and trimmed probably every tree branch within reach on my 21/2 acres of property then got kicked off my neighbor's property because well he had tree branches that needed trimming too! Does it look completely dangerous yes! Is it dangerous? Depends on your level of common sense. But even if you loose a finger or 3 it will be worth the money because this thing is alot of fun!

If you have a project that you need to hog out a lot of wood this works great. It does require a little skill with power tools and safety equipment is a must though. This is not a tool for a novice working with a side grinder for the first time. watch some videos and be sure you understand the principles of the tool before trying. That being said I really like this blade.

Much easier to use than I thought it would be. It goes onto a small grinder that can be held in one hand which leaves the other hand free. I thought this might be dangerous but it only takes a minute to get comfortable with it. I will buy a back-up as all chain saw blades will eventually dull and wear out. I love this thing/

I've seen these the past couple years and was skeptical, but it cuts as I hoped it would, I'm using it to grind out small stumps like butter.

I wish they made a 12 inch for my grinder, I have bas luck with chain saws, I don't care how dangerous it would be, that's my middle name.

But this thing is super-dangerous. Be careful! Ideally, only use pulling motion, to avoid binding the disc. If the disc is attached to a strong grinder and it binds and kicks sideways, like grinders do, if your hand is in the way it can easily cut through all your fingers, in one fell swoop. Be careful!
