I am 100% a fabric pot convert. This is the first time I have tried them, we are renters and this was not only the most cost effective garden option, but my plants are SOO happy!! I purchased this one and a smaller one, I like the size of this one better, but the sodes are a little flimsy and it doesn't hold it's shape as well as the others. It's not much of an issue, just the sides fold over as there is maybe an inch of space left and ots a great place for bugs to hide. That is my ONLY issue. I have three tomato plants, a cucumber plant and a green bean plant and they are all THRIVING. I actually have a sweet million cherry tomato in the olanter and ine in a regular pot and the difference is pretty incredible. Much more bountiful plant in the fabric planter!

We purchased a couple of these to use as part of a rooftop garden. They worked quite well for this enduring through at least a year with no sign of significant wear. Good drainage too.They actually ended up being deeper than I'd anticipated and, when first filled with dirt, about half the edging material would flap around in the wind. However, we discovered that once you fill the planting bed half full of dirt, you can fold over the excess edging fabric on the outside to form a double-thickness edge that stays in place quite sturdily.

We have been using these heavy duty grow bags for several years now and they are the best! I love the instant gardening beds! Decide on the spot you want, unfold the grow bag, fill with soil, sow your seedlings, or plants and Tada, all ready to grow! You can put the bags at any height ground level or table. Believe me this is so much better than than having to repeatedly crawl around in the dirt pulling weeds and picking slugs out of the greenery etc.! Another benefit is that now that we have the grow bags we are able to turn the deck into a plant nursery and we manage to get our tomatoes, lettuce , etc to our table instead of growing an all you can eat buffet for the deer! It is also nice to be able to fold the grow bags up and put on a shelf at the end of the seasons. Another advantage is that you can adjust the sides by folding them down when you need a shallower planter like for strawberry plants . They are mobile in that you can set them up wherever you like but when they are filled with dirt it isn't very easy due to the weight.
